Colleen has served as the statewide Black Bear and Furbearer Biologist for the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC) since 2007. She is a Certified Wildlife Biologist® and has been working in the wildlife profession for 20 years.

Bear and Company will have a stuffed animal workshop. Their furry friends are excited to be adopted by kids of all ages. You’ll experience the fun of choosing one of our lovable critters and getting your new forever friend perfectly huggable with our custom stuffer! All Bear and Company friends come with a wishing heart, t-shirt, adoption certificate, and convenient drawstring backpack. You can even accessorize your new friend with a "take me home" outfit!

Mark’s highly acclaimed images have received numerous international, national, regional and local awards. He conducts photography workshops across the US each year. His fine art prints have been featured in many exhibitions and can also be found in several galleries. Mark’s photos have appeared in dozens of magazines and other publications. He will be sharing some of his skills and knowledge about bear photography in this free seminar!

There are only two ways to see and appreciate the natural beauty of the expansive Roanoke River Delta- by water or by air.
