Bear Tours - The tour will take you on a journey on the
refuge with the greatest potential for seeing the black
bears that have come to call Pocosin Lakes their home,
with unique opportunities to see an array of wildlife
and the beauty of nature. |

Kayaking
This will be an “up &
back” paddle on Conaby Creek, departing form Bear Track Landing
on East Main St. in Plymouth on Saturday, Overflowing Parking is
available next door at Riverside Baptist Church. The cost is $20
if you bring your own kayak or canoe. For $50 you can rent a
kayak, paddle and PFD.

be possible to get a "God's Eye View" of this natural
wonder. There are over 50 miles of shore line within 5
miles of Plymouth! This is the lower part of the largest
intact hardwood bottomland east of the Mississippi
River. For $40 you will experience a breath taking helicopter ride over Historic Downtown Plymouth,
the Roanoke River Delta and see where it flows into the

Bass Tournament
For the 4th year, the Eastern NC
Bass Challenge will be the official bass tournament of the North
Carolina Bear Fest which takes place in Plymouth, NC. This event
will take place on Sunday, June 5. Registration and check-in
will begin at 4:30 am and last until 5:45 am.
